Giving season is every season at Douglasville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center! The team came together and gathered toiletries and other items including paper towels, tissue paper, wipes, and tents to give to the homeless in Atlanta. We are proud to be serving our community in every way possible!
To start the new year off, Douglasville Nursing & Rehab Center has received the COVID-19 vaccine for both residents and staff. We continue to social distance and wear all required PPE.

2021 is finally among us … and YES We’ve made it into a New Year!!!! As always we are definitely in a celebratory mood, and partying like its 1999! We are celebrating a new year, new beginnings and new aspirations this month and the months to come. This month we have a lot of fun and exciting events happening here at Douglasville Nursing and Rehab. Our activities include The Ball Drop and New years Celebration 1/1, Actor’s Club 1/6, DNR Flea Market 1/13, Strawberry Ice cream Social 1/15, Checker’s Tournament 1/9, “Niecys’ Place” BINGO STORE 1/26, Ladies Evening Tea Party 1/27 and so much more such as Prom King and Queen Nominations for our 1st Douglasvilles’ Lovers Lane Prom Night in February, Celebrating Dr. King day, Rehearsals for our History Program”Wax Museum” , and Douglasvilles’ Divine Community Choir is coming back in a Big way!! We are super busy and excited over here to see what 2021 will bring and enjoying life along the way. Wishing you a healthy, happy, and harmonious New Year!!!

On Wednesday July 10th, Douglasville Nursing & Rehab will be hosting an event “Dinner with a Manager”. The event will be held at the facility which is located at 4028 Highway 5, Douglasville, GA 30135. Candidates for employment will be having dinner with several of the management staff over light conversation and dinner. The event will begin at 6:00pm and will end at 8:00pm. Make sure to RSVP by calling the facility at 770-489-1268 and speak with the Human Resource Department OR email Andre Howell at 21Abhowell@tarahc.com.
How do I get to the Facility?
If coming from I-20 east (Atlanta area) you get off of exit 34. Then make a left onto Highway 5. Continue straight for approximately two miles and the facility will be on the left.
What can I bring?
You may bring light personal items to include but not limited to: clothing, pictures of family, blankets, a cell phone, and small personal items.
Can I do my family member’s laundry?
Yes family may choose to do their loved one’s laundry. Also, this option can be changed if needed.
How do I admit a loved one from the hospital? What Information is Needed?
Please call the facility at 770-942-7111 and speak with the admissions department. Someone will be happy to speak with you.
Are meals prepared on-site?
Yes. Three meals per day plus snacks are prepared on-site.
Having trouble adapting at home? Douglasville offers outpatient Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapies. Available for transitional, outpatient, and long term care patients.
Offering 24-hour on-site respiratory services, we have devoted staff that are pulmonary and ventilator trained. A Pulmonologist makes weekly visits to our campus to oversee our care.
Private suites are available for your short term rehabilitation needs, with therapy offered six days per week, including modern amenities.
